Fork over Knives Movie Event

Date: Friday, January 11, 2019

Time: 6:45 pm – 9:00 pm

Location: Memorial Northwest Community Center Meeting Room

We will be viewing Forks over Knives in the Meeting Rooms.  Everyone is to bring a Plant-based dish (Preferably no dairy or eggs) with the recipe to share.  The main goal is to allow residents to try different foods. Why Plant-based? You will understand when you see the movie.  Doors will open at 6:45 p.m. The movie will begin at 7 pm.  The movie lasts just over an hour and a half, so it should end by 8:40 pm.

Who needs to try new foods the most? Yes, your kids.  Therefore, youth are invited however they must be supervised.

What is the Movie about?

FORKS OVER KNIVES examines the profound claim that most, if not all, of the so-called “diseases of affluence” that afflict us, can be controlled, or even reversed, by rejecting our present menu of animal-based and processed foods.
