Location: Memorial Northwest Community Center Meeting Room

We will be viewing In Defense of Food in the Meeting Room.  Everyone is to bring a Plant-based dish (Preferably no dairy or eggs) with the recipe to share.  The main goal is to allow residents to try different foods. Doors will open at 6:45 p.m. The movie will begin at 7 pm.  The movie will last about 2 hours.

Who needs to try new foods the most? Yes, your kids.  Therefore, youth are invited however they must be supervised.

What is the Movie about?

In Defense of Food tackles a question more and more people around the world have been asking: What should I eat to be healthy? Based on award-winning journalist Michael Pollan’s best-selling book, the program explores how the modern diet has been making us sick and what we can do to change it.
