Dear MNW Community,
Do you love bringing people together and creating memorable experiences? The Memorial Northwest Social Committee is seeking enthusiastic volunteers like you to help us plan and run family-friendly and adult events throughout the year.
Volunteers play a crucial role in making our community vibrant and connected. Whether you enjoy organizing activities for kids, brainstorming themes for social gatherings, or ensuring our events run smoothly, there’s a place for you on our team.
What Volunteers Do:
- Event Planning: Collaborate with fellow committee members to brainstorm event ideas, select themes, and plan logistics.
- Event Setup: Assist in setting up decorations, arranging seating, and preparing for activities.
- Event Coordination: Help coordinate activities during events, ensuring everyone has a great time.
- Promotion: Spread the word about upcoming events within our community.
Why Volunteer?
- Make a Difference: Enhance the community spirit by contributing your time and ideas.
- Meet New People: Build relationships with neighbors and forge new friendships.
- Have Fun: Enjoy being part of exciting events and celebrations without financial commitments.
No Financial Obligation: Volunteers are not expected to cover any expenses associated with events they help organize. Your dedication and time are what matter most!
Get Involved: Ready to join us? Whether you have a little time to spare or want to dive into planning headfirst, we welcome your participation. Together, we can continue to make MNW a wonderful place to live and connect.
Next Steps: If you’re interested in volunteering or have any questions, please contact us at social@mnwhoa.org.
Thank you for considering this opportunity to contribute to our amazing community. We look forward to working with you!

UPDATE 2/25/2025! – The pump has been repaired and the heater is back online. While the water is still on the chilly side, the pump is operational and heating the water!
Our fantastic pool management team, A-Beautiful Pools, has discovered a major leak in the Lap Pool booster pump. As a result, the heater was turned off on 2/14/2025 at 4:45 PM.
The Lap Pool remains open for residents with waivers and Ohana members, but with cooler weather ahead, expect the water to get chilly. The team is actively sourcing parts and aims to have the heater back up and running next week.
We’ll keep you posted with updates as we receive them. Stay warm and swim strong!

Attention MNW Residents:
In an effort to keep the common areas and amenities safe and secure, we have updated our biometric system. We ran a report and deleted PINs only for users with both fingerprints and PINs.
*Note: Everyone’s fingerprints will still be valid
We have had ongoing issues with PINs being misused and passed out to minors, and non-residents.
If you seem to have issues with the scanner reading your fingerprint, be sure your finger is cleaned, and try multiple times if necessary.
*PLEASE NOTE ALL PIN’s WILL EXPIRED APRIL 1st 2024*
If you currently have a fingerprint in the system or have signed waivers as of January 1, 2024, you will not need to resubmit.
Feel free to visit the community center during onsite business hours to sign a waiver if you have not already done so.
