Boil Water Notice Rescinded – Effective Immediately

Posted: October 24, 2022 at 1:50 pm

On October 23, 2022, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required the Harris County WCID 114 public water system, TX1010317, to issue a Boil Water Notice to inform customers, individuals, or employees that due to conditions which occurred recently in the public water system, the water from this public water system was required to be boiled prior to use for drinking water or human consumption purposes.

The public water system has taken the necessary corrective actions to restore the quality of the water distributed by this public water system used for drinking water or human consumption purposes and has provided TCEQ with laboratory test results that indicate that the water no longer requires boiling prior to use as of October 24, 2022.

If you have questions concerning this matter, you may contact the District’s operator, Eagle Water Management at 281-374-8989

Pool Closed Sunday 9/18/2022

Unfortunately the Pool is closed today (9/18/2022) because of a major plumbing leak (lets call it a flood).  Hopefully we can have a plumber dispatched immediately and resolve the problem quickly.  With the amount of water that was reported it sounds like there will be some damage in the walls to also be addressed.  We will update the website with updates as they are ready.

2023 Election Open Sept. 19 and Ends October 3rd

The election period for 2023 opens on September 19 and will end on October 3rd at 5 pm. You will receive a ballot by regular mail and it should be arriving as early as Saturday, September 17. The ballot has voting instructions for the 3 methods. The voting methods include dropping the ballot in the ballot box at the community center, mailing it through the USPS, and submitting your vote by email.

There is only 1 contested race on the ballot. You may only cast a ballot in the Area Director race for the area your property is in. The at large positions are uncontested but you are encouraged to still vote and provide your support to these volunteers.

A ballot is provided below if you don’t receive the mailed ballot or have misplaced it. Instructions are provided at the bottom of the ballot

A write-up for each candidate can be found here.
