What has happened to our garbage/trash/recycling company, Texas Pride? Why are they not picking up on Monday & Thursday? Or, on any day? Is this company in breach of the contract agreement with our subdivision?
TP did not do recycle pickup after the freeze because they had to redirect resources for collection of garbage and debris as a result of the freeze. They did communicate this to their customers via email. This week they had equipment failure and completed the recycling route on Tuesday. There may be some missed trash pickups as well and that is being looked at.
I received in one mailing multiple notices with pictures of which I was warned needed to be addressed. One was corrected. I called the number provided and the phone message bank was full on two efforts. I used the email address to respond, sent it twice and I have no response. I was given a deadline and on two areas they cannot be addressed by the given deadline, one is for me to ask permission for my late husband’s “stone art” to remain in place. and for the other is that I will be delayed to “fix”. I was a victim of criminal mischief recorded by the police. An expensive large bubble glassed iron lantern was jerked down from my front brick wall. I have made multiple efforts to locate a duplicate and was told they have to be made. I ask that I be given until March to order and replace it. I also ask that the stones remain and I will have them covered with English Ivy. Respectfully, Peggy Sue Moran.

Learning the dos and dont’s of MNW is appreciated. I stand corrected and apologize for not understanding the limitations of this communication opportunity.
I am not sure if it is appropriate or not…but I ask to share my concern about how pamphlets or page adverts are being placed inside our mailboxes by just anyone. My understanding is other than our postal systems are allowed to place any item or mail in our private mailboxes.
Ex: I caught two gentlemen opening my and my neighbor’s mailboxes to insert a page advertisement. They did not understand English when I confronted them. I called the number on the page advertisement and the woman did not understand English as well. I find this intrusive and a possible way for unguarded theft to happen.
Peggy Sue, this is probably not the best place for this question, but I will give you my feedback here.
What they are doing is illegal. You should report them to the Sherrif Office. You may want to also contact the post master. I am sure if you saw them then other people did as well. We can’t fix this if we don’t report it to authorities that can actually do something about it. The HOA would not have any resources to enforce mailbox misuse.
