Community Center Update

Unfortunately, we have lost the generator at the Community Center. We were hoping we would be able to keep the CC open as a cooling center, but we now have closed the facility.
I am also getting worried about the condition of the pool as the days pass. Our pool management has been doing what they can to keep up with it.
As of right now the pool is closed, the building is closed, the tennis courts are closed, and the playground is closed. Any events scheduled are also cancelled until the power is restored.
The pool us unsafe to swim in. I had to ask some people to leave yesterday from the pool. The BIG RED sign on the door saying “Pool Closed” was not enough.
Please DO NOT let your children play on the downed tree that is covering the playground. It is not a new playground feature.
We do not have too many repairs for damage from the storm other than the generator, a fried A/C Logic board, a leak in the lobby, power not working in the gym, tennis wind screens, and some downed trees.
We have calls going to Generator Supercenter to see about a repair but as I am sure you can imagine that is just going to a busy signal.

Pool Closed for Beryl

The pool has been closed in preparations for Beryl. We are planning on being closed through Tuesday and will assess what needs to be done to reopen Wednesday if possible.

Vantaca News

Vantaca News

As a reminder on April 1, 2024, we’ll be transitioning from Townsquare to Vantaca for our community management platform. This transition promises smoother operations and enhanced accessibility to the resources you need, right at your fingertips!

On April 1, you’ll receive an email from Vantaca with simple instructions on how to access the new portal. We understand that change can sometimes bring uncertainty, but rest assured, we’re here to support you through the process.

Starting from the first week of April, we’ll be initiating the transfer of account balances to Vantaca. This will encompass any outstanding charges as well as any prepayments made towards future assessments or charges on your account. While this transition takes place, you may not see your complete balance reflected under the Payments screen. However, please understand that this is only temporary as we finalize our accounting and financial transition throughout the initial weeks of April.

You will still have the option to make payments to your account during this period of account balance transfer. Rest assured; we will keep the community informed once all account balance transfers have been successfully completed.

In the meantime, why not take a sneak peek at some helpful videos to get acquainted with the new portal? Check them out below:

2024 Assessments

2024 Assessments

At the November 2023 board meeting the 2024 assessment rate was set.  The assessment rate has increased by 3.5%.  Bringing the assessment to $787 for 2024.

Bills for the assessment should be ready to go in the mail and I expect you will start seeing them in the next week.  Assessments are due January 1, 2024, and will be considered late if RECEIVED after January 31, 2024. Late fees will be charged on February 1st for any account where the assessment has not been received in full.

If you are unable to make your assessment payments timely consider getting on a payment plan for the assessments before the late fees, certified letter late notices, and legal referral happen.  The best time to address getting on a payment plan is before you are late.  The payment plan policy can be found here. https://mnwhoa.org/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/MNW-Payment-Plan-Policy-3-22-12.pdf
