   I understand that there are ongoing complaints submitted by my neighbors regarding the pickle ball courts that lie behind all of our homes. In conjunction with those complaints I add my endorsement and individual request for more appropriate use of the facilities that presently constitute a nuisance under Texas law. The common resources used to support this narrowly focused activity require better management to avoid waste and harm to the residents unfortunate enough to be stuck with the problem they do not benefit from. This is not unlike the selective enforcement of deed restrictions that is commonplace. Do not drop it from consideration during holiday meetings.

     We are having discussions regarding what to do, but there are many factors involved. This is a hot item that has been discussed at several recent meetings. Please know that it is being discussed.

   Texas Pride has charged me a $20.00 late fee when I was not late, as they failed to answer their business phone. Once a person did answer and I gave my change of payment method, she failed to enter it as the changed payment method for me.
   When I my trash was not picked up for a third week, I called and by the second effort a person did answer and saw my changed payment method was in their records. After another trash day passed and I my trash was not picked up I had a challenging exchange with the Texas Pride management in that my payment method was not used in a timely manner nor was I sent a updated “trash bin” sticker. I was falsely charged, not because I was late, but ignored.
   Second, I agree that deed restrictions need to be followed. I also ask that reputable contractors for various jobs be provided. Personally, I have been scammed three times by “Angi List” in the area of landscaping, and power washing.
   Third, I again, plea for side walks and street lights. Atherington is being used as a fast cut through by fast cars and large trucks, especially at night.
