Remembering and Honoring those who made the ultimate sacrifice serving our country.

Memorial Day was originally called Decoration Day from the early tradition of decorating the graves of our fallen service people with flower, wreaths and flags. It is a day of remembrance and celebrating our freedoms in this great county to pursue a better life for all singularly and collectively.

Thank you to the Memorial Northwest Marlins for volunteering to help us celebrate this great day with fun for everyone at the community center. Thank you to the BSA as well for using their training and talents to honor our service people by presenting the National Anthem.

There will be a food truck for purchasing items from 11-2, freed popsicles around the pool, water melon races, games, and DJ and possible your new best friend you just haven’t met yet! We hope to see your there!
