Neighborhood Tennis Leagues

Posted by Jay Jackson

Jay is the Memorial Northwest HOA President. Jay has been on the HOA board since 2016 and has served as an Area Director, 1st Vice President and currently the President.

The MNW HOA Board has approved our neighborhood tennis league teams to begin hosting league play. League play out of our facilities had been put on hold due to the COVID virus. The Tennis Committee and HOA Board is shooting for a 10/19/2020 start date. We are not making promises but this is the goal.

Each player and opponent is required to sign the MNW COVID waiver before entering the tennis gate/facilities and to follow specific COVID Match Hosting Protocol recently approved by the HOA Board.

If you are a team captain, co-captain or league player and have not received an email with the COVID protocol, contact Lynne Sanders at lynne.sanders@cbunited.com

And, as always, if you would like to learn the fabulous game of tennis, Lynne would love to hook you up and help get you started.

My concern is keeping our facility secure. It’s just natural that we become relaxed in adhering to community policies after time passes. At this time If our security officer is okay with it I have no objection at this time. Just thought I ‘d throw in my 2 cents! Thanks Ryan for being such a great member of our board.

Thank you so much for opening up the tennis courts (once we sign the waiver). Exercising outdoors is super safe when we follow all the Covid rules that you have in place. THANKS SO MUCH!!!
